The leaders of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv held a festive gathering with representatives from the team’s sponsors in the V.I.P. lounge at Nokia Arena, and toasted the start of the new season and the New Year. Speeches were made by club chairman Shimon Mizrahi, General Manager Eli Drikes, and owner David Federman – who was surprised to receive a cake in honor of his upcoming 70th birthday.
Eli Drikes: “I’m happy to see a lot of familiar faces here; these folks have been with us for many years and it’s a sign of satisfaction on both sides.”
Shimon Mizrahi: “Here in the museum you can see where our club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, took its first steps, and how far we have come.”
David Federman: “We are looking outside of the country; we have opened an office in the United States. We are going far beyond the borders of Israel, and I think we give real value to everyone who advertises with us.”
