For the Eueoleague “Top 16” draw on Monday in Barcelona together with Unicaja Malaga, TAU Ceramica & Panathinaikos Athens.
The draw for Euroleague Top 16 will take place on Monday, 13/02/06 at 14:00 in Barcelona. The 16 teams, who have been classified in quality levels, will be drawn into four groups with day 1 to be played on February 22 or 23. The top two teams of each group will qualify to the quarter finals playoffs. The winners in the best of three systems will go the Final Four. The configuration of the levels of the Top 16 group draw: 1st Level : Inicaja Malaga. TAU Ceramica, Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv, Panathinaikos Athens. 2nd Level: Climamio Bologna, Efes Pilsen Istanbul, CSKA Moscow, Zalgiris Kaunas. 3rd Level: Lietuvos Rytas, Benetton Basket Treviso, Winterthur FC Barcelona, Real Madrid. 4th Level: Olympiacos Piraeus, GHP Bamberg, Ulker Istanbul, Cibona Zagreb.
