Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv is gearing up for the new season, and leaves on Sunday for two European tournaments. The first is a three-game stint in France; in the second, Maccabi will play two games in Germany.

On Sunday, the 20th of September, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv takes off for Europe, in preparation for the coming season.
The team will play a total of five games, in France and Germany.
Their flight leaves Tel Aviv on Sunday evening; once in France, the team will continue by bus to Angers, a town in the northwest of France, approximately 300 kilometers from Paris.
From September 21 – 23, Maccabi will practice twice daily.
Afterwards, the team will take part in the “Pro Stars” tournament, which is made up of six teams: Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, Nancy, and Cholet in one group and Le Mans, Villerban, and Spanish team Kaha Vittoria in the other.
Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s Games in France:
24 September in Nantes, vs. Nancy (21:00 Israel time, 20:00 local time)
25 September in Anger, vs. Cholet (20:00 Israel time, 19:00 local time)
26 September in Anger; opponent and time to be determined by outcome of previous games.
Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s Games in Germany:
29 September vs. Bamberg (19:30 local time)
1 October vs. Frankfurt (19:00 local time)
Game times are subject to change.
The team will return to Israel on the eve of Sukkot, 2 October 2009.
