Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv has signed David Efianayi (1.88 m, 30) until the end of the current season. He is an athletic scoring guard with extensive international experience and a strong familiarity with the Israeli League. His addition aims to bolster the backcourt ahead of the playoffs, following the release of Jeff Dowtin and injuries to Lonnie Walker and Amit Ebo.
“We signed David to provide depth and additional options in our backcourt,” explained head coach Oded Kattash. “He is a player with versatile skills who knows the league and can help us in the final stretch of the season.”
“I want to thank the management and the coaching staff for the opportunity to join a historic club at the highest level like Maccabi Tel Aviv,” David Efianayi told maccabi.co.il. “I’m excited to get started, meet the fans, and do everything I can to help the team in the final stretch of the season. I’ve played at the Menora Arena before, but now I’ll be doing it wearing the famous yellow jersey. Let’s go Maccabi!”.
