Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv will open the 2009/2010 Euroleague season at home against Ljubljana in a celebratory game on October 15th. Week 2 will be against Tau.

The 2009/2010 Euroleague season will open on October 15 with a celebratory game at Nokia Arena, when Israeli champions Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv will host Slovenian champions Union Olympija Ljubljana.
When the remaining Euroleague season openers take place on 21 and 22 October, Maccabi will be playing in the
Shimon Mizrahi and Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv thank the Euroleague management for their consideration in the scheduling of Maccabi’s opener, and they also thank Union Olympija Ljubljana and the heads of the Adriatic League.
