Euroleague champions Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv will open the 2004/05 season on Monday 01/11/04 in Kaunas vs Zalgiris. This will be the official opening of the Euroleague season and will be part of Zalgiris 60th celebrations.
The other teams in Group B of the Regular Season are: Adecco ASVEL France (wuth Huseyin Besok), AEK Athens, Union Olimpija Ljubljana, FC Barcelona (with Dejan Bodiroga & Gregor Fucka, , Italian champions Montepaschi Siena, and Scavolini Pesaro.
