The Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv Basketball Club congratulates the perennial team captain Derrick Sharp on his 39th birthday!
Sharp, who is about to begin his 15th straight season with the club, played an important part in the 12 championships, 10 Israeli Cups, and 3 Euroleague Championships Maccabi has won since he joined the team.
To date, Sharp has scored 1,740 points for Maccabi in Europe, and holds seventh place in the list of all-time scorers for Maccabi in Europe (first among players still in uniform).
He only needs 65 more points to pass Anthony Parker and take sixth place.
In the Israeli League (regular and post-season), Sharp has scored 3,150 points.
