The forward returned to Israel and talked about the first goals (“to gain as much as possible”), Zoosman and Avdija (“they’ve gotten better”)
“It was a long flight but it feels good to comeback. I love this place. It’s been a great summer and it was really nice to see friends and family. I was at home and really enjoyed my time there”, Said Michael Roll. “Our goal is to gain as much as possible, enjoy our time together, to love what we do and that will bring the results accordingly”.
Roll also addressed the issue of the new players joining: “I have yet to talk to the new guys, I have only talked to those who came back this season, they are big names and it’s a lot of talent, the sooner we get everyone together things should be ok. I’m not going to put any expectations we need to work as hard as we can and to win as many games we can”.
“Keeping the core of the roster is always the key for success. We already know each other, the habits and how everyone is going to play” the forward explained, as long as we’ll keep this core and build the roster around it with new talented guys it should be great”.
On Zoosman and Avdija’s success with the U20 NT Roll said: “It’s something huge that will always be theirs, something that they will get to share. They have gotten better and they have played great, I have watched a few games online to win the championship is amazing and it will be theirs forever”.
Towards the first practice of the season Roll said: “I’m excited and so is everyone I have talked to him. We have a lot of talent on the team and we will do whatever we can to get everyone together so that we can have the best season possible”.
