The young forward (23,2.08) that grew in the youth departments and blossomed last year in Ashdod has signed a two year deal with the club. Levi: “I’m planning to seize this opportunity”. Coach Spahija: ”Nimrod made a big step forward during the season”
“I’m very happy to come back to Maccabi, a club that I’ve played for as a teenager and also in the first team”, said Levi to Maccabi’s official website. “I’m planning to seize this opportunity; I’m in Tampa right now working out with a trainer and I’m planning to come ready for this season that I can’t wait for it to start, Yalla Maccabi”.

Levi grew up playing for Maccabi’s youth department to which he arrived in 2013. In the 2014/15 season he played for Ironi Ramat Gan due to the collaboration between Ramat Gan and Maccabi, the following year he was loaned to Hapoel Galil Elyon-Kiryat Shmona, he then moved to Maccabi Rishon LeZion from which he arrived back to Maccabi Tel Aviv (2016/17) where he participated in 9 games.
The previous season was his breakout season, his great ability was rewarded by coach Greenberg with playing time, 21.9MPG in the regular season and 24.5MPG in the playoffs. He averaged 10.5P, 6.3R and 1.4S in the regular season, in the playoffs he averaged 9P, 6.8R, 2.3A and 1S.
Nimrod started in 7 out of 33 regular season games and he scored in double digits 15 times. His season high in scoring was 20 points, an achievement he reached three times during the season, against Maccabi he scored 14, 13 and 15 accordingly.
Nimrod is a young versatile and talented player who is joining coach Soahija’s roster hungrier than ever, or in short, A Maccabist.
