Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv will open its games in Group D of Euroleague’s Top 16 with two home games vs Ulker Istanbul (24/02/05) & Montepaschi Siena (03/03/05). The fourth team in the group is Cibona Zagreb who will host Maccabi on March 10.
The return games will be played on the following dates: 17/03/05 in Istanbul, 24/03/05 at home vs Cibona and on 31/03/05 in Siena.
The top two in the group will qualify for the ¼ finals (best of three games). The winner of Group D will play the second in Group E (CSKA, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Pesaro) and the second in Group D will play the first in Group E.
The other groups consist of: Group F – Climamio Bologna, Panathinaikos, Zalgiris, TAU. Group G – Efes Pilsen, Benetton, AEK, Prokom Sopot.
