Tau’s head coach suffered from pains in his chest and was hospitalized
Tau Ceramica head coach Velimir Perasovic will miss his team’s Top 16 opener against Maccabi in Tel Aviv after suffering from angina pectoris diagnosed on Tuesday morning. Perasovic felt pain in his chest late in the evening on Monday and, after being examined by Tau’s medical services, was taken to the hospital. Perasovic was hospitalizaed and missed the press conference planned for Tuesday morning, in which assistant coach Nacho Lezcano and doctor Alberto Fernandez revealed the bad news. Perasovic will undergo further examinations during the day, but the latest news are positive as his condition is considered “stable” following the last medical tests. Lezcano will guide the team at Tel Aviv.
