Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s fabulous center Shawn James was chosen one of two Euroleague Week 10 MVPs after he finished with an index rating of 27 in the game against Alba Berlin.

Shawn James, center for Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, has been named one of two Euroleague Week 10 MVPs following the team’s 78-62 victory over Alba Berlin. In that game, James scored 10 points (4 of 5 shooting from the field), collected 10 rebounds, made 3 assists and 3 blocks, and took two steals, which earned him an index rating of 27 points. The other player named was Nemanja Bjelica of Spanish team Caja Laboral.
James finished the Euroleague regular season leading Maccabi in the Euroleague, with an average of 16.6 index points per game (7th overall in the Euroleague) and in second place in blocked shots with 1.6 per game (first place is held by former Maccabi player Stephane Lasme).
