Maccabi’s head coach Neven Spahija looks forward to Madrid: “We will have to play a bit better versus Madrid, but we will give everything we got against them, I want to thank our crowd for their support”

Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, bounced back from its back to back loses in the EuroLeague as they beat Milano 79-68 en route of improving their standings to sixth place with a 3-2 record. Six players scored in double figures for Maccabi as 10,600 fans in yellow and blue, and above all a stellar MVP performance by Tyus who finished with a double double of 12p & 15r, Thomas added 14, Kane 12, and dominant team effort on the boards have played a decisive role in getting the win.
Neven Spahija was satisfied with his team’s performance but clarified: “This is still not the Maccabi I want to see. We can still improve and look better. I think that tonight was our best third quarter from the beginning of the season, and we are starting to play better, I think that we will have to play better against Madrid, but we will give everything we got against them. I want to thank our fans for their support.
Alex Tyus the game MVP added: “I think we all did a good job. Everyone played with a lot of
energies especially on the defensive end. We’ve played against a very good offensive team, so it was extremely important”.
