After the disappointing loss to Anadolu that have ended an impressive five game winning streak, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv delivered a big performance on the road against Khimki to get away with the 77:69 win.
Maccabi displayed an offensive clinic against Khimki who turned the ball over 20(!!!) times, Jackson who was unstoppable led the yellow offense to a remarkable win.
“I think that coming to this game after losing by 20 points at home against Anadolu is not easy” said coach Spahija. “I think that this was our best performance on away games so far, we also had a good game against Bamberg, but our defensive performance against Khimki was better”, he added.
Spahija was also asked about Alexei Shved and Maccabi’s game plan for the gifted scorer: “Before the game we knew everything about Alexei, he’s one of the best players in Europe and I think we came to this game well prepared, and we managed to execute our game plan”.
