Three weeks after losing in Kfar Blum in the 22nd round, Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv returned to the same place and beat Galil Elyon 72-63 in the “Top 6” of the Premier League.
Maccabi took a 22-14 lead at the end of the first quarter and opened a 15 pts gap (38-23) in the second. But a 9-1 run by the hosts, made it 39-32 at half time. Maccabi players scored only one point in the last two minutes of the second period and three and a half minutes in the third. And so Galil came within two points (46-44) before Maccabi made it 51-46 at the end of the third. The Tel Aviv team won the final period 21-17.
