The opponent from Serbia’s capital was the last to visit the arena before the war broke out and the first to offer help. Here’s what will take place at Menora Mivtachim Arena before the teams return to competing on the court
Immediately after the Hamas attack, as the scale of the massacre was only beginning to emerge, Partizan’s president reached out and immediately offered to host the team in the Serbian capital and to provide any assistance needed. Now, the Black-and-Whites return to Yad Eliyahu, and just before they once again battle on the court, we will all say thank you.

Ahead of the game, a festive tribute ceremony will be held in honor of Partizan Belgrade Basketball Club in particular, and the Serbian nation as a whole. The guest of honor will be club president Ostoja Mijailovi?, for whom a special ceremony will be conducted.
Maccabi’s stars will take the court for player introductions wearing special warm-up shirts bearing the message “Thank You, Belgrade,” and together they will hold a ten-meter banner expressing appreciation to our Serbian friends, who stood by us in our most difficult time. In addition, special courtside signage has been prepared, and an emotional thank-you video will be shown on the arena’s video cube.
