The 2005/06 Euroleague Draw will be held today (Sunday) at 12:00 (Israel Time) in Prague. The holders, Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv, will head one of the three groups of the Regular Season. The other groups will be headed by TAU Vitoria & Panathinaikos Athens.
The 24 teams have been divided into the following 8 levels:
Level1: Maccabi, TAU, Panathinaikos
Level 2: CSKA, Efes Pilsen, Benetton
Level 3: Milano, Ulker, AEK
Level 4: Bologna, Siena, Barcelona
Level 5: Real, Cibona, Zalgiris
Level 6: Prokom, Malaga, Ljubljana
Level 7: Olympiacos, Bambers, Pau-Orthez
Level 8: Partizan, Strasbourg, Lietuvos Rytas
Prior to the draw Pini Gershon will receive his award as Euroleague Coach of the 2004/05 season.
