Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv will tomorrow (Tuesday, 12/09/06) will launch the 2006/07 with the first training session at Hadar Yosef (19:00). Only six players will be available to the new coaching staff headed by Neven Spahija with assistants Guy Goodes & Daniel Gutt. Four other players are on National Team duty: Jamie Arnold Yaniv Green, Sharon Shason & Lior Eliyahu. The three new players, Rodney Buford, Will Bynum & Simas Jasaitis, will be present as well as Derrick Sharp, Nikola Vujcic & Regev Fanan. The team will practice in Tel Aviv until September 20 when they will leave for a training camp in Zrece, Slovenia. During the camp Maccabi will play three games: on 25/09 in Ljublijana ve Union Olimpija, on 27/09 in Lasko vs Pivovarna & on 29/07 in Roseto, Italy vs Fortitudo Bologna. The team will return to Tel Aviv on September 30.
