Hope to continue where they left off in Barcelona and record their third win on Polish
Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv will open this evening (20:45) the second round of the Regular Season of the Euroleague at the Olivia Arena in Gdansk vs Polish champions Prokom Trefl Sopot. Maccabi players want to maintain the excellent form they showed last week in Barcelona and complete the double over Prokom after the 95-68 win at The NOKIA Arena on the opening day of the season. The Poles are under a lot of pressure after losing their last four Euroleague games. For Maccabi it will be the fourth Euro game on Polish soil. They beat Lech Poznan in 1989 and Slask Wroclaw in March 2001 but lost 65-79 to Wroclaw in December 2001. One game in Group B was played last night and Lietuvos Rytas won in Vilnius 80-52 over Cibona Zagreb.
