Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv will play this evening (20:30, Nokia Arena, Direct on Channel 1) vs CSKA Mpscow in their sicxth game of Euroleague’s Regular Season. Maccabi comes to this game with a 5-0 record and CSKA is on 4-1.
This is yhe 19th meet between the two teams since the historic 91-79 win in Virton, Belgium in February 1977. Maccabi has won 10 times & CSKA eight. In the 2000/01 season Maccabi won 69-68 in Tel Aviv and CSKA won 81-77 in Moscow.
Two games in Group B were played last night. Panathinaikos won in Athens 91-67 vs Unicaja Malaga and in the Italian Derby Skipper Bologna beat Montepaschi Siena 95-86.
