Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will have to close out the semifinals series and secure a ticket to Winner’s league finals on Wednesday in a winner-takes-all game at Menora Mivtachim Arena. This was decided after the Yellows lost 81:97 to Bnei Hezeliya in game 2.
The Israeli champions didn’t perform as expected at Hayovel gym, and except for Derrick Williams (18 points), didn’t rise to the occasion. Avi Even’s players will have to regroup now and up their level in the decider, and the good news is that this time the yellow fans will be there to support them. See you on Wednesday.
