Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv’s streak might be tested on Thursday when the Yellows face Barcelona away, but the Israeli champions will definitely reach the game against the Spaniards with high morale and a lot of self-belief.
Maccabi secured its 8th win in a row – an emphatic 84:61 over Hapoel Gilboa/Galil – in an evening in which Scottie Wilbekin, Ante Zizic, and Angelo Caloiaro got a much-needed rest (as well as Keenan Evans, that played only 5 minutes). In their absence, James Nunnally (16 points) and Roman Sorkin (15) pushed the Yellows to the justified result.
